Getting Lost - Te Reo Maori Edition
This game gets adventure who want to practice their Te Red Maori to find new places to explore
We are so excited to introduce the Te Reo Edition of The Getting Lost Game - our original Adventurers Edition - but now in both te reo Māori and English.
With the 26 misdirection cards in te reo Māori on one side and English on the other side you’ll have everything you need to get off devices and exploring untravelled paths while improving your te reo Māori.
This kit is the perfect starter pack for people wanting to find hidden gems of the beaten track, while exploring their backyard. It contains 26 “misdirection cards” which give you random directions to (things like turn left, follow a blue car, head in the direction the wind is blowing) to get you being mindfully random in your exploration.
To design this game we worked with the lovely Rosie and Kuruho from Kura Rēhia who translated our misdirections into te reo Māori. They then consulted with a certified translator to ensure the quality of the mahi. We really love the passion that Rosie and Kuruho have for bringing te reo Māori into ways we can have fun together as family and friends in Aotearoa.
